👋😊 Hi, I'm Samten Dorjee Tamang. I started this farmstay to offer a real taste of rural life—peaceful, natural, and rooted in authenticity.

Just 6 km from Gangtok, our farmstay is surrounded by lush greenery and mountain air. It's a place where simple joys—like walking barefoot or sipping tea at sunrise—become memorable.

Guests enjoy home-cooked meals made with farm-fresh produce and are welcome to help with small tasks or traditional cooking. Our calm pool and quiet setting add to the retreat-like experience.

Our farmstay offers three simple, homely rooms—each thoughtfully designed for comfort and a deep connection with nature. Every room accommodates two guests and includes a private attached bathroom with 24/7 running water and hot water, ensuring a warm and relaxing stay in any season. One room offers peaceful views of Upper Tathangchen, the Palace Monastery gate, and the rolling valleys of Pakyong, along with a glimpse of our little chicken shed—adding a rustic countryside touch. Another overlooks our seasonal farm crops, where the scenery shifts from tall green corn to vibrant local produce, giving guests a true sense of rural rhythm. The third room, while more inward-facing, is bright, quiet, and perfect for those seeking a restful, no-frills retreat in an authentic local home. Not far from the farm, a quiet river flows—perfect for slow walks, peaceful reflection, and our unique outdoor experiences. Rate: ₹1,500 per night per room (for 2 guests), including breakfast and free access to the swimming pool.

Our Location

Our farmstay is located on the peaceful outskirts of Gangtok, about 6 km away from the main capital Gangtok. Nestled in a small, quiet locality called Lower Tathangchen, we're just a 20-minute drive from MG Marg—Gangtok's main market and popular hangout spot.

Staying with us means you get the best of both worlds: the calm, scenic charm of rural Sikkim with easy access to the heart of the capital whenever you need it.

How to reach?

We're located about 6 km (around 20 minutes by car) from MG Marg, Gangtok, in a peaceful area called Lower Tathangchen. Taxis may sometimes find it hard to locate us, so to make things easy, we're happy to arrange a car or guide you directly once you book. Just reach out, and we'll make sure you arrive without any hassle.
